Biographical/Historical Note

The University Committees and Task Forces Collection includes materials from several campus-wide groups, including: the Academic Policies and Procedures Committee, the Educational Development Committee, the Jamison Committee, and the Graphic Identity Task Force. The Jamison Committee was formed to review the process for reviewing departmental chairpersons, and these records date 1977-1981. The Graphic Identity Task Force was charged with the responsibility to develop a graphic design standard for all publications of the university as well as a logotype, in the late 1980s.
