WINTER WEATHER & CHANGES IN HOURS ALERT

When inclement weather and / or dangerous travel conditions create saftety hazards for visitors and staff, Special Collecions may close early, open late, or be closed for the day. Decisions for Special Collections may differ from Campus or main Belk Library statuses due to staffing issues. See the online calendar of current hours for updated information on operations during weather.

Located on the 4th floor of Belk Library and Information Commons, the Special Collections Research Center is home to the W. L. Eury Appalachian Collection, the Stock Car Racing Collection, Rare Books & Manuscripts, and University Archives & Records Management Services.

Check our current hours. The archives, manuscripts, and rare book collections are available by appointment. Please make an appointment 5 days or more in advance to allow for research consultation and pulling of materials.
